Andy co-founded the company in 1976 and has been responsible for its steady growth into a respected Consultancy practice. Andy Graduated in 1971 following experience in the Industrial Electrical Engineering Sector. Andy has extensive knowledge in the provision of Building Services to public institutional buildings, outdoor area lighting and high voltage power distribution. Andy is a Chartered Professional Engineer and holds an Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Peter started his career with Ashburner Francis after graduating in 1991 with a Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Computing. He played a significant role in the development of the Townsville office and gained extensive knowledge in power reticulation, lighting designs, standby generation, communication systems, data installations, security systems and fire alarm systems. Peter is a Chartered Professional Engineer and Managing Director of the company.
Brian started his career as an Electrical Engineer for the Department of Works in Brisbane, before commencing in consultancy in 1985, working on a wide range of buildings including commercial offices, industrial facilities, government facilities, shopping centres, aged care facilities and resorts. Brian joined the company in 1992 and played a major role in the expansion of the Toowoomba office. Brian is a Chartered Professional Engineer and holds a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Wayne commenced his career within the Refrigeration Industry before joining the company in 1996. Wayne has valuable experience in mechanical engineering across a wide spectrum of buildings including Aged Care, research, hospitality, retail, hospital and defense facilities in both design and project management, and today plays a major role in the Townsville office. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Mechanical).
Graham started his career in the Electrical Contracting sector with involvement in project management, purchasing, design and client liaison. He has built up an enviable knowledge in Electrical Systems in office complexes, aged care developments, restaurants, industrial applications and domestic facilities. He joined the company in 1994 and today plays a pivotal role in design, management and client relationships. Graham holds several Trade certificates.
Darren began his career in 1987 with a long established UK Electrical Contracting Company. Working his way up to Managing Director in 1992, he was involved in management, job supervision, purchasing, contract administration, design work and client liaison.
Darren joined Ashburner Francis in early 1997 as a Senior Technical Officer, and now acts as our Operations Manager. His experience spans projects throughout Queensland including the Far North, the Mid Coast and remote Western Queensland.
Tony commenced his career after graduating in 1982 with Mount Isa Mines undertaking electrical engineering on high voltage, low voltage and machinery projects. After working with the Department of Defence he entered consultancy in 1995 becoming a specialist in electrical engineering. Tony joined the company in 1997 and today is involved in all aspects of design and construction of communications, HV & LV power supplies, lighting, diesel generators, security systems and Nurse Call Systems. Tony holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Engineering and a Masters in Business Adminsitration.
